1Believe, you righteous, that the sinners will become an object of shame and will be destroyed on the day of iniquity. 2Be it known to you sinners that the Most High remembers your destruction, and that the angels 1 GMQTD′N add ‘of heaven’. rejoice over your destruction. 3What will you do, you sinners, and where will you flee on that day of judgement, when you hear the sound of the prayer of the righteous? 4But you will not be 2 GQD′ ‘will be’. like them, you against whom 3 GD′ ‘like those against whom’; T ‘like them, for against you’; C′ ‘like them, but against you’. this word will be a testimony, You have been associated with the sinners. 5And in those days the prayer of the holy 4 So G and some Eth.II MSS: other MSS ‘righteous’. will come before the Lord, and for you will come the days of your judgement. 6And all the words of your iniquity will be read out before the Great and 5 GGaMQN Gk.m om.
