1Contemplate heaven, all 1 GGaMQT1D′ om. you sons of heaven, and all the works of the Most High, 2 Gk.m ‘Consider therefore, you sons of men, the works of the Most High’. and fear him and do not do evil before him. 3 Gk.m ‘and fear to do evil before him’. 2If he closes the windows of heaven, and withholds the rain and the dew so that it does not fall on the earth 4 on the earth: Gk.m om. because of you, what will you do? 3And if he sends his anger upon you and upon all your deeds, 5 T Gk.m ‘and upon your deeds’; GaM ‘because of (Ga adds ‘all’) your deeds’; GQD′ defective. will you not entreat him? 6 will you not entreat him?: so EHLC′ Gk.m; other Eth. MSS ‘you will not be able to entreat him’. For you speak 7 Gk.m ‘Why do you speak with your mouth?’ proud and hard words against his righteousness, 8 Gk.m ‘majesty’. and you will not have peace. 9 and you … peace: Gk.m om. 4And do you not see the kings 10 So all Eth.
