An Egyptian Pharaoh who reigned 690–664 BCE and who led a campaign against Assyria (2 Kgs. 19: 9; Isa. 37: 9). Assyrian annals record the Egyptian defeat in about 701 BCE, when Tirhakah would have been a young commander in the field.
